Abstract

This article aims to provide accurate and analytical information on how managerial management is currently exercised and on the leadership skills possessed by senior and middle-level administrators in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Hidalgo del Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico. The study adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative perspectives to analyze the integration process and operational performance of administrators in active roles, as well as the level of maturity of their abilities to lead, influence, and strategically align their educational communities with the institutional quality philosophy. Based on the analysis of the results, the study seeks to raise awareness of the strengths and areas of opportunity within the managerial body, to support objective decision-making that contributes to continuous improvement. This, in turn, promotes strategic management and the implementation of preventive and corrective actions that foster the timely and meaningful fulfillment of the institution's mission, vision, and objectives within an environment of harmony, collaboration, and a humanistic perspective.
